Review: Good for a single person, but making enough for many more - I did a lot of research, and reading of reviews before I bought this. I am not an expert cook by any means, but I knew I had to replace my cookware — non-stick stuff, old, and scratched up to boot — but I was also moving soon, so whatever I bought was going with me. I could not just throw it away because it was "cheap and cheerful," something that would do until I moved. It had to be the best I could afford. It's 18-10 stainless steel, so should last me until I last need it. So, I bought this. And, so far, so good. I have enjoyed using it very much. I do a lot of stove-top cooking to make a dish that can be parceled out for packed lunches throughout the week, so I like this size. Advice is to follow the instructions sent with: Don't go to high heats, and when cleaning it after a cook, don't be tempted to scrub off anything that might stick. Leave it to soak a bit. And then be gentle. ## Features - TRIPLE LAYER COVERED CONSTRUCTION Features an aluminum core for even heat distribution and precise cooking control - PREMIUM 18/10 STAINLESS STEEL: features an aluminum core for even and even heating - GENEROUS 12.8 INCH SIZE Ideal frying pan for preparing family sized fry dishes and a variety of kitchen creations - Hob compatibility: works with all stovetops including induction, and is oven safe to 500 degrees F - Includes helper handle: the extra stainless steel handle is designed for easy lifting - PROFESSIONAL SAFETY NSF certified and dishwasher safe for hassle free cleanup - LIFETIME WARRANTY Made in Brazil for quality and durability, backed by lifetime warranty ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01M7T40KR | | Best Sellers Rank | 206,557 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 57,993 in Cooking & Dining | | Brand | Tramontina | | Brand Name | Tramontina | | Capacity | 12 inches | | Coating Description | Non-stick | | Colour | Stainlesssteel | | Compatible Devices | Electric Coil, Gas, Smooth Surface Induction, Smooth Surface Non Induction | | Compatible devices | Electric Coil, Gas, Smooth Surface Induction, Smooth Surface Non Induction | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 367 Reviews | | Handle Material | Stainless Steel | | Has Nonstick Coating | No | | Is Oven Safe | Yes | | Is the item dishwasher safe? | Yes | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Weight | 1.45 kg | | Manufacturer | Tramontina USA, Inc. | | Manufacturer Part Number | 80116/057DS | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Maximum Temperature | 500 Degrees Fahrenheit | | Metal | Stainless Steel | | Model Name | Seattle | | Model Number | 80116/057DS | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Care Instructions | Dishwasher Safe, Oven Safe | | Recommended Uses For Product | Cooking on a stovetop | | Special Features | All Cookware, Compatible with electric hobs, Compatible with gas stoves, Electric Stovetop Compatible, Electric cooker compatible, Gas Stovetop Compatible, Gas cooker compatible, Induction Stovetop Compatible, Induction cooker compatible, Oven Safe | | Special feature | All Cookware, Compatible with electric hobs, Compatible with gas stoves, Electric Stovetop Compatible, Electric cooker compatible, Gas Stovetop Compatible, Gas cooker compatible, Induction Stovetop Compatible, Induction cooker compatible, Oven Safe Special feature All Cookware, Compatible with electric hobs, Compatible with gas stoves, Electric Stovetop Compatible, Electric cooker compatible, Gas Stovetop Compatible, Gas cooker compatible, Induction Stovetop Compatible, Induction cooker compatible, Oven Safe See more | | Specific Uses For Product | [MULTIPLE]: sautéing, pan-frying, griddling, searing | | UPC | 016017108936 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Tramontina - **Capacity:** 12 inches - **Colour:** Stainlesssteel - **Material:** Stainless Steel ## Images ![Three Layer Clad Stainless Steel 12" Frying Pan with Auxiliary Handle, Induction Ready Frying Pan, Dishwasher Safe, NSF Certified, Made in Brazil - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61DMllUvOzL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Premium stainless steel or 18/10? I don’t see 18/10 stamped on the bottom of the pan.** A: The Tramontina 80116/057DS 12 inch Tri-Ply Clad Fry Pan with Helper Handle is made with 18/10 stainless steel. Please do not hesitate to contact us at help.tusa@tramontina.com for further assistance. Thank you very much for your inquiry! Tramontina Customer Service **Q: what is helper hadle excatly?** A: There is a long handle and a short handle. The short handle is the helper. A large skillet can be heavy on the wrists. The helper handle helps carry the load using both hands. **Q: Is there a lid for this?** A: No, there's not. I recommend a universal lid that can be used for up to 12 inch pans. I bought Modern Innovations Universal Lid with Tempered Glass Top for Pots & Pans, Fits 8.25, 9, 10, 11, and 12 Inch Cookware - from Amazon for $19. **Q: How much does this weigh? (Not the shipping weight).** A: The Tramontina 80116/057DS Gourmet Stainless Steel 12-Inch Tri-Ply Clad Fry Pan weighs 3.2 lbs. The quality of the pan is next to none and you feel it while holding it. Slender hands might feel it to be a bit heavy due to its sturdiness. Very easy to clean when you have done cooking. No lid supplied though with the pan so you will have to get that separately. Heats up very fast and food preparation has been a breeze with it. Good job tramontina! ## Frequently Bought Together - Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel 12-Inch Large Frying Pan with Helper Handle, Induction-Ready Skillet, Dishwasher-Safe, NSF-Certified, Made in Brazil - Tramontina Professional 8-Inch Non Stick Small Frying Pan, Heavy-Gauge Aluminum Skillet with Reinforced Nonstick Coating, Red Handle, Dishwasher and Oven Safe - Tramontina Lock & Drain Stainless Steel 8-Quart Pasta Pot with Lid and Strainer --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/230336272-three-layer-clad-stainless-steel-12-frying-pan-with-auxiliary](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/230336272-three-layer-clad-stainless-steel-12-frying-pan-with-auxiliary) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
