It does exactly what it is supposed to. I have used mine now for spegetti (I use about 2lb ham. meat in my recipe) and for manwiches! This cooking "spatty" is so handy!!! It chops the meat to exact consistency I prefer. It seems very durable and will last a long time.I found another convenient use for it: it is the PERFECT size around to get into those Manwich cans without having to dirty another utensil!!! Plus with a few "turns", you waste none!!! I didn't measure the length, but it is plenty long enough that you won't have to worry about burns... it's roughly 10" to 12" long! Made of duable solid, hard plastic and silicone (or maybe just silicone?) . As I would purchase again, I do feel the price is too steep. It's just a matter of time before the $Tree picks this up at 1.25 all day long! That being said, I purchased when on sale for sbout 5bucks and have no regrets!This review is not part of a promotion, I literally purchase roughly 98% of my goods by researching the reviews.
