It works! It does what it says it does. It's not permanent and doesn't claim to be. One of the reasons it is recommended to get new glasses every year is because the coatings that are put on during manufacturing of the glasses, start to wear off in a year. It protects your lenses from simple scratches. It will not make it scratch proof from things like a paperclip. It is a protectant, not a repair liquid. It is for glass, not plastic. I feel it is necessary to make these points, based on the 1 star reviews I've seen. This product deserves a higher rating. I have used it on my glasses, smart watch and phone, as well as those of family members. It's easy to apply, but be sure to leave it sit for at least 10 minutes and longer if you put on a heavier amount.
