One of them is perfect. The other one, however, had a perfectly cut 3/4inch circle on the bottom of the glass jar, which would obviously let all the coffee run out of the jar. I would not be so disappointed if it weren`t for the fact that there were traces of glue on the little glass circle, indicating that someone tried to cover up a huge flaw. ### ⭐⭐ It is beautiful and classic in design and my daughter was thrilled ... *by C***H on May 6, 2016* I brought this French press for my daughter and had it sent to her through Amazon. We used it for the first time together, and for the first three uses it made very good coffee - but - after the third day of use the carafe cracked while I was GENTLY hand washing it! We would like to have it replaced but my daughter can't find the box! ### ⭐⭐ Broke Within 3 Months *by C***H on April 25, 2016* Although this French press had great promise, the glass carafe broke within 3 months of ordering/use. Luckily, it just cracked at first while I was depressing the plunger, and then a perfect circle broke from the bottom when I moved it over the sink, looking for the source of the leak. No one was hurt, but I'm disappointed in the quality of the carafe.
