Review: Good pliers - I'm a professional jeweler. These are good. They are comfortable to hold and I prefer the bent head (be aware of straight heads). I use high quality 2mm sterling silver crimp tubes. The initial press makes a deep "groove" that can then be pressed into a nice, tight, neat crimp. The jaws of the pliers are aligned. I've ordered others on desertcart (due to needing quickly!) that did not perform well and these are by far the best of the bunch.

**Q: Will these work with 1.5mm tubes?**
A: Yes it should work with any size

**Q: What size crimp beads/ tubes would these work with?**
A: All

**Q: Compared to Joann products, are they the same or better?**
A: Very seldom buy Joann products, but I’ve been happy with this product. Used to make scissor charms and crimped my crimper materials with no problem.

**Q: Would these work to crimp 8mm end caps?**
A: I haven't tried that, but I don't believe so. I think these pliers would be too small for that. These pliers are mainly intended for use with the smaller crimp tubes used to finish off a string of beads. I hope this helps.
