I.e. can you bake with this? Thanks** A: Hello - Ground Lupin Bean is not really meant for baking. It's more of a side dish or ingredient to your main dish. Here is one recipe that will lead you to a couple of other recipes on our site that use Lupin. Thanks and let us know if you have any other questions! https://carringtonfarms.com/lupin-fritters/ **Q: If I turn this into a powder in my food processor isn't basically the same as Lupin Flour?** A: I tried but it is still Too coarse to use for flour. I then put it in a spice grinder and that made it much finer But more similar to grits wouldn’t like it to bake with. Buy the lupin flour **Q: Will this cook down like grits? What does it taste like?** A: I did cook some plain and did not care for the flavor or texture (and I do like grits). But I do buy this regularly as an ingredient in a high protein quick bred I make and like it very much used that way **Q: Will this work for Lupin Semolina in pasta recipes?** A: I think the "grains" are probably too large. Lupine flour would probably be a better choice for making pasta. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Enthusiastically recommend *by A***L on July 9, 2026* Great product, I like the taste, texture, and versatility for use in meals.
