Review: Lively sound, fan a bit noisy - Dragged the Pyle amp out of its box on Saturday morning, still in cycling gear, and plonked it next to the old Mission bookshelves in the garage gym. One twist of the big silver knob, a very blue LCD winked at me and the place was already sounding less like a biscuit tin. I paired my phone in seconds, Bluetooth held firm while I wandered a good ten metres to wrestle with a tyre pump, no splutters. The 200 watt five channel output isn’t studio grade but it gives Arctic Monkeys plenty of bite, and the built in FM tuner let me catch the football later without swapping cables. Metal chassis feels solid enough to survive the occasional dumbbell bounce. And yes, the remote is smaller than a Costa loyalty card so it keeps disappearing behind paint pots. Fan noise? Noticeable when everything’s quiet, not a deal-breaker though. For the money I’m chuffed, lively sound, loads of inputs, minor niggles I can live with.

Connectivity and usability are excellent and very user friendly. The remote is really good although we tend to use it manually for our needs... You can also use this as a bluetooth amp as well which my kids enjoy for listening to Disney songs at dinner time. Really nice amp throughout.

**Q: pda7bu no sound in tv mode**
A: Please check and see if external speakers/audio is enabled on your TV, as the setting options vary for each TV Model and Make. Also check for line continuity.

**Q: Any input for phonograph ?**
A: A phonograph needs a special non-linear RIAA curve input, which this does not have.  BUT, you and a friend can sing along with separate volume controls for your mics.

**Q: Can You use it with 3 ohm speakers?**
A: I built a speaker system that operated at 1.5 Ohm and I had to get a Krell amplifier to power it.  Pretty much anything below 4 Ohm you will likely need a high end amp like a Krell...

**Q: will this unit run a passive subwoofer or is an additional amp required**
A: Yes, but you take away power from each of the other channels... you should use a powered subwoofer and then it won't eat your signal strength, or your amps power nearly as much...

So I read the reviews and thought f it. I’ve paired these up with some of my old disco speakers to replace by ageing surround setup. Input options are very lacking. No optical, no hdmi, only rca. However for my use and the inclusion of Bluetooth for this great price is amazing. Time will tell how long it lasts but I did take the two year Amazon warranty for £3 extra. If it’s something to play over Bluetooth or for tv speakers there are worse options out there. Eq is limited although has the usual options. No input selecting or power options on the remote is bizarre. Remote works and that’s all it does, but it does control volume. Can think of worse
