There is no interference between the collars. One is radio, the other is sonic. I am sure the sonic collar (this one) would not interfere with your underground wire fence collar. **Q: I bought an electronic doggy door 2 years ago. The replacement transmitters I have bought are no longer available. Will this one work?** A: Ours is about 2 1/2 years old and we didn’t have any problems getting it to work with the older door. We just put batteries on them, then put them on the dog, and we haven’t had any issues with it. **Q: Does anyone know of a smaller sensor that will open this door? The sensor is big for my dogs neck. It was not submerged and it stopped working. Had it only for 25 days and the company replaced it. My other dog has had hers for three months and no issues.
