Founded to create a longer lasting bearing using tried and true bearing technology, Dragon Bearings feature precise steel machining, dual labyrinth style bearing shields, incredibly long lasting and fast lubricants, and fully removable shields and cages.RACE and ENDURE LUBRICANTSLubricant in bearings is one of the most important aspects for performance and longevity. Dragons come with one of two lubricants: ENDURE or RACERACE uses a light, low viscosity oil specially formulated to maximize speed. The low viscosity oil allows the bearing to roll freely and quickly, but is more easily washed out of the bearing during use. We recommend RACE for high speed and spinner applications.ENDURE is a slightly thicker grease lube that requires minimal maintenance. This lubricant latches on to bearing components and protects them longer and stronger than oil, but at the expense of sheer speed. We recommend ENDURE for longboards and cruiser boards. DUAL LABYRINTH SHIELDSDragons come standard with two shields on either side of the bearing for maximum protection from the elements. The last thing riders want is to worry about their bearings getting dirty. With Dragon, install and forget. They're designed to last.APPLICATIONS Dragon Bearings come in bearing size 608 which can be used in skateboards, longboards, Penny boards, spinners, roller skates, roller blades, scooters, and even some suitcases. ABEC ratings are not relevant in any skating application. Allow me to explain. ABEC is a scale for tolerances. The higher the ABEC number, the more precise the bearing is. At the onset, this sounds relevant. However, ABEC ratings are most useful when comparing bearings in a low load and very high RPM (revolutions per minute) environment. Skateboarding, scooters, and roller skates are high load, low RPM. Because of this and the exposure to dirt, water, etc makes ABEC ratings lose their relevance as soon as your wheels hit the ground. Frankly, skate companies have used ABEC scales just to create price tiers of products. While the bearing quality might be better at a higher ABEC rating, it is wrong to assume a higher ABEC rating means a better bearing. It is much more important to look at the brand reputation, the type of lubricant used, and the bearing shield style. These features will make a huge difference. Dragons are lubricated with either light grease (ENDURE) or oil (RACE) and have very good shield seals. They were skater designed and tested. Dragon promises 100% satisfaction. We hope this helps. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions or concerns. Thanks,David **Q: Will these fit my a5 lux razor scooter** A: Hi, Thank you for your interest in Dragon Bearings. Yes, Dragon Bearings will work in your Razor A5 Lux Scooter. Your 5-star satisfaction is our #1 priority. Please feel free to contact us with any other questions or concerns. Thanks, David **Q: Are these bearings good** A: These bearings are pretty good if you're looking for durability. I've been riding them daily for over 4 months now. I've ridden through puddles, dirt, leaves, etc and they're still rolling smoothly without having been cleaned. The double shield design is integral to this characteristic. **Q: They are normal 8mmx22mmx7mm correct?** A: Hi Michael, Thank you for your interest with Dragon Bearings. Yes, the bearing size is 608 and measures 22mm (diameter) x 8mm (inner diameter) x 7mm (width). Please feel free to contact us with any other questions or concerns.
