A: Yes, there are two power buttons in the back, one is for the hot water.  You can turn it off and only faucet temperature water will come out.

**Q: Can you connect this to your outdoor faucet**
A: You could but it would require a lot of not included plumbing futtings to get to the point of attaching it

**Q: Does this filter out arsenic**
A: Yes, litterature states it does. I run it's water line straight from a reverse osmosis unit, so nothing makes it into the water storage inside the unit.
