They are perfect for the micro and do the job that I wanted.
The silicone bowl lids are one of the best products I have bought in a long time. The are perfect to put dishes in the micro with this lid. I haven't tried the oven or pot on top of the stove, but for the micro they are perfect. I would have liked 2 more of the 8 inch. I bought the red to match my kitchen, they fit perfectly, and the thickness is just right. The quality of the material is top notch and the suction is great. A good buy.

Still working great 5 years later
(Originally purchased in July 2019)So I bought these for a relative who wanted some red covers for their round glass dish's. After looking around a little while I came across these which seemed pretty good. These are silicone lids which means you can cook with them on, but also they have that suction effect if you press down and push out some of the air. It's not the best seal you can get but it's good enough. Though don't expect to be able to flip over the bowl with these on or you're items will fall out. What is also good is the fact you can kinda lock all the lids together going from the big one down to the little one cause the handles interlock into each other from big to small. Was reminded again the other day by my relative they still love these lids and use them often when cooking so they don't melt or ruin the plastic lids that came with their glass storage bowls. So wanted to make sure to update (though looks like I never reviewed these in the first place oops) my review for these to let people know they are still working great.

Pretty nice
I use these to cover my tea cup when I want to save some tea for later, or for my Corelle bowls, to save leftovers in the fridge. They form an air-tight seal & keep foods/drinks very fresh. I was tired of wasting plastic wrap & tin foil for this kind of thing. These were a bit overpriced (I paid $16, but I think $13 would have been a more fair price point for what you get); still, I will save money on throwaway plastic & tin foil in the long run, and it is better for the environment. They are easy to wash & snap into each other for easy storage. Wanted to order the red to match my accessories, but ended up going with the white, since I will use them in the microwave & I was concerned about red dyes leaching into my food. I am taking a star away because they are from a California company, yet made in China. Wish American business would employ American workers to make its products! Still, good quality item overall.

We absolutely LOVE these, and have ordered a second set!
We LOVE these and now have 2 sets! They are so easy to use and easy to clean. We have had no mishaps in the fridge with them since they cling so well. I had reservations about whether my husband could get on board with these…he helps a lot in the kitchen. After using these for two weeks, he’s the one who asked me to order more. I’m tempted to order a third set. The lid grips (knobs) pop together for storage if you’re compulsive, but we keep them spread out across the other bag/wrap/paper products and that makes it faster to grab the right size. (Also, because I seldom reach for the plastic wrap or foil anymore!) I haven’t yet used them in the oven, but they do well in the microwave and with stovetop use. Negatives: I do not have use for the coffee cup size, and I wish the (not included) 12” size came in red, not just in blue. And do NOT use the lid grips (knobs) to try to lift a bowl or pot…you’d have a horrible mess! They grip but not for that purpose, so don’t use the grips for anything other than placement or storage!UPDATE: These great covers do work VERY well in a hot oven, too! I did order an extra set to keep on hand for a possible gift, and will now order a 4th set as either an extra gift or to use myself. They can be washed by hand in the sink, or in the dishwasher with no problems. My satisfaction with this product has only increased in the more than 6 months that I’ve used them! They have not become nicked or warped with use. A+++ for such a versatile kitchen accessory!

Magical Lids
You set the lid on a bowl. It sticks to it and seals. The end.I swear, it's as easy as this. I'm blown away with how good these silicone lids are. I was not expecting to be this happy over lids.In my quest to shovel out the mountain of plastic I have in my kitchen, I vowed to use my glass bowls exclusively. Except, I have way more glass bowls than lids. I needed lids. Happily, these silicone bowl lids 100% fit the bill. The beauty is that they don't have to exactly fit the bowl size; if it's too big, no biggie. It still seals. There are five lids in the set and they cover the full range of sizes in my nest of glass bowls. When you set the lid on top of a bowl, lightly press it if you'd like-- it'll push a bit of air out and set the seal. Or just set the lid on top and move on with your life. You do you. You can test the seal by lifting up with the center knob. It feels like magic when you can actually lift the bowl up doing this. But don't do that and think you're going to transport it to the fridge like that. Common sense tells us that's a stoopid idea. The disclaimer in the packaging backs up that concept as well.Maybe there are some surfaces where the silicone doesn't seal? I haven't found one yet. So far my bowls and pans are all digging the close personal relationship with the Silicone Bowl Lids.I bought mine in "white"--they're more a sort of transluscent, milky white. They haven't yet come into contact with tomato sauce but so far I've found them very easy to keep clean. I would be cautious with them on the lower dishwasher rack because the heating element tends to warp silicone.Five stars!
