I wasn't unhappy with the other product, and this product was not less expensive. I just thought I would give these batteries a try. You let the batteries 'breathe' for a bit before using. You would think this would be nuisance. It's really not a problem. Batteries seem to last a bit longer, maybe 8 hrs. Good quality. Packaging is unique, too. 50% less packaging for the same number of batteries. When these arrived I opened one, waited 5 minutes and then compared the starting voltage to my just opened Beltone after it had also had a 5 minute wait. Voltages were nearly the same.Then I resealed the HearClear battery until the Beltone one was used up, which was 9 days later. I unsealed the HearClear battery again, waited 5 minutes and put it in. It also lasted 9 days.
