Review: Works great! - I really like this machine. It's fairly expensive compared to some other shaved ice machines, but it's also of a different design. The ice is actually flakey if you have the correct milk/water mixture. This is more similar to the Asian style powdered shaved ice than Hawaiian style blended ice chunks. It's still not an alternative to store bought Bingsu, but those pro machines also cost $50,000.

I really like this machine. It's fairly expensive compared to some other shaved ice machines, but it's also of a different design. The ice is actually flakey if you have the correct milk/water mixture. This is more similar to the Asian style powdered shaved ice than Hawaiian style blended ice chunks. It's still not an alternative to store bought Bingsu, but those pro machines also cost $50,000.

GREAT fun. Just love this and the mountain of snow that it makes. Plus it's so many many less calories than ice cream and I make my own sauces with organic fruit.
