Please, do not chuck it on by hand and expect good results. It will scorch. In the right hands, this is an excellent product at a bargain price. I am a DIY user and found the dosage of 20grams per square metre more difficult to apply than another brand I have used previously, and to not overdose. That said, I was very careful and the results are good. The granules are not as easily washed in as the other brand, and when I made my first cut after application, a lot of dust was lifted into the air, which was difficult to avoid inhaling.
