## Description

The Original Himalayan Dog Chew is a very long lasting dog chew. Himalayan Dog Chews are made by boiling yak and cow milk and then dried for several weeks to create a hard chew. Dogs must work the end of the treat for hours, softening it with their mouths before small parts of it can be slowly scraped off. It is 100-percent natural with no preservatives. It is an authentic type of cheese eaten by the people of the Himalayas. When you give this Himalayan Dog Chew to your dog, you know that you are providing them with hours of high quality eating entertainment. Packaged by weight, quantities and size vary.

Review: Good for "hyper" chewers, but didn't last long - So I got this one, as to check it out and see if the pup liked it, because we've got a Mal-mix that hyper chews EVERYTHING. She's about 30 pounds right now, so I thought, okay we'll be safe, it'll last a while... Three days later, it was completely gone. I thought, that can't be right, because it says it lasts a long time. I have no idea what a "long time" means, but I'm guessing it meant more than 3 days. The upside is, she loved it. So much so, I ordered a larger weight level set of 4, to see how long those last each. Hopefully more than 3 days. We're in the 4-7 month teething range right now, so chewing is life for this pup, and if it keeps her from chewing the wood baseboards and even drywall corners or furniture corners, I'll take it. Chewability seems to be fine for a 'hardened' treat like this. Our pup's activity level is through the roof so if it keeps her busy a few hours, awesome for us. She seems to like the bacon/cheese taste, so that's a plus too, but I mean what dog doesn't like bacon (real, not that fake stuff). Even if your dog is under the weight range for the product description, if you've got an "active" breed like a Mal, I'd suggest moving up in size just because if a 30 lb pup can chew up one of these in 3 days or less, they need just a little bit more to keep it going longer. It could also be because our pup gets bored easy and chewing is what they do when bored. We're passed the ultra sharp shredder first teeth and into the large molars coming in along with the other permanent adult teeth. Maybe for ultra chewers they could come up with a different formula, or maybe it's perfect the way it is.
Review: Last so long! Even for aggressive chewers! - My dog absolutely loves these Himalayan sticks. It is a great value and you get a large bone the last a long time. I have an aggressive chewer and it still takes him forever to chew it. Also you can microwave the small piece of bone after your dog is done with it and then it turns into a puff treat. I buy these all the time. I have a 15 lb Pomeranian and usually get the medium size but have previously gotten a large size and it works just fine as long as it used his bone holder.

## Features

- Yak Cheese Himalayan Dog Chews: We specially make our dog chews with an ancient Himalayan recipe from the mountains of Nepal. Each Himalayan dog chew is expertly hand crafted by artisans using ancient techniques passed down through families for hundreds of years.
- Just Cheese: This is a totally natural and very nutritious dog treat made with no binding agents, preservatives or additives. Our Himalayan yak chews are crafted from pasteurized yak and cow’s milk using a unique curing process that removes lactose and ensures food safety requirements are met, making them gentle on sensitive stomachs.
- Dog Chews Long Lasting: When you give a Himalayan dog chew to your dog, you know that you are providing them with quality chewing entertainment. Our long lasting dog chews can help to keep even the most aggressive chewers busy as dogs must work the end of the yak chew for hours, softening it with their mouths before slowly chewing small pieces off.
- Easily Digestible: Himalayan dog chews are better digested than standard rawhide chews and bully sticks. The dog snacks are lactose free, grain free, and gluten free making them easily digestible for any kind of dog breed.
- Bacon Flavor: Included is one medium, 2.3 oz bacon flavored Himalayan yak cheese stick - made using our traditional Himalayan cheese recipe, but with added bits of bacon for more flavor! Ideal for dogs 35 pounds and smaller, not for dogs younger than 12 weeks.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review from a Pug Who Has Ascended to Bacon Enlightenment
*by C***R on September 2, 2026*

Hello. I am a pug. A round, wiggly connoisseur of snacks. And today I bring you my testimony about the Himalayan Dog Chew, Bacon Yak Cheese — also known as The Baconator Brick of Eternal Joy. When my hooman opens the Amazon box, I already know. I can smell destiny. My tail does that little helicopter thing. My eyes widen. My soul vibrates. Because inside that box is bacon. And I ask myself, as I do every week: Does bacon love me as much as I love bacon? I believe the answer is yes. Bacon and I are in a committed relationship. I shred this chew like it insulted my ancestors. I gnaw it with the intensity of a tiny, loaf‑shaped warrior. I attack it with the passion of a dog who has waited her whole life for a bacon‑infused yak stick. My hooman says I “go through them too fast.” I say bacon waits for no one. The flavor? Divine. Smoky. Cheesy. Bacon‑y. It tastes like the universe finally apologized for all the times I didn’t get table scraps. If you are a hooman reading this: Buy it. Your dog will achieve bacon enlightenment. If you are a dog reading this: Convince your hooman. Use the big eyes. Use the head tilt. Use the guilt. Five stars. Ten snorts. Infinite bacon love.
