After adding this to my products batches at 1%, I took samples from those batches, wiped my fingers onto my dirty face and stuck them into the products. Then, I left my lotion and serum with the cap off on the kitchen counter for a day, then moved them to the bathroom for another day and then placed the caps back on and let them stand on my desk for almost two weeks. After what i considered a pretty tough challenge test, there was absolutely no growth or spoilage/odor in the products.
