Review: GREAT SEAL! BUT, make sure you match it up with your model # on your pressure cooker! - When I received these gaskets and mounted them on the metal lid liner that seals the pressure cooker, they didn't fit. They were too big. I opted to use one of the rings, instead of returning right away, thinking I would see if they really do work, in spite of being a big larger, not fitting smoothly around the lid liner. To my surprise and happiness, they WORK! Once the pressure lock was engaged, the first thing I noticed was how quickly the lid locked into its pressure. I now realize that the original seals did not work so well. They seemed to take, what seemed to be, FOREVER to seal...as long as 3+ minutes, and they seemed to take longer as the years went on. WHICH means, I should've replaced that original gasket a long time ago! The pressure seal used to break and have to re-pressurize multiple times during my cooking process. No longer is this the case. Yes...I definitely recommend this gasket; HOWEVER, you MUST make sure you have the right model number, located on the external label seal on the cooker, itself. I thought I may have ordered the wrong one and double checked the model # against the product I ordered, and it was correct. Yes...I'm very happy with this gasket!

When I received these gaskets and mounted them on the metal lid liner that seals the pressure cooker, they didn't fit. They were too big. I opted to use one of the rings, instead of returning right away, thinking I would see if they really do work, in spite of being a big larger, not fitting smoothly around the lid liner.
