Buying elastic by the yard at retail store prices adds up fast, so getting this much yardage on a single roll saves money and ensures you won't run out midway through gathering a skirt or making waistbands. The performance of the knit elastic is excellent—it provides a strong, resilient bounce-back without feeling overly stiff or losing its recovery after stretched-out use. Safety-wise, the soft polyester-knit material is gentle against the skin, meaning waistbands won't chafe or leave harsh, irritated red marks during all-day wear. Portability is clean and simple; the elastic comes neatly wound on a compact spool, keeping 32 yards from turning into a tangled mess in your notions bin. Visually, it features a crisp, bright white finish with clean, uniform edge stitching that looks neat inside casings or sewn directly onto garments. Compatibility is top-tier across all kinds of projects. Because it's a knit elastic, it doesn't narrow when stretched, making it ideal for stitching directly onto fabrics, sliding into waistbands for lounge pants or skirts, or using for general craft applications. It feeds smoothly under the machine foot and cuts cleanly without unraveling, making it an essential, high-utility staple for any sewing room. Used it to length about 10 belts for costumes. Worked perfectly. I also cut pieces of it to the width I needed and used it for other projects. It didn’t fray. Very pleased with the quality and quantity for the low price of $8.97 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unexpectedly solved under-bed gap problem！I do not need to fish toddler toys！ *by X***U on March 25, 2026* I originally bought this 3in 120Yard Black elastic band for a small DIY fix around the house, and it ended up solving one of my biggest daily annoyances as a parent. We have a California king bed with an upholstered frame, and my toddler’s toys — especially balls — were constantly rolling under the bed. It was driving me crazy having to fish things out multiple times a day. I wrapped this 3-inch elastic band around the outer edge of the bed and secured it with safety pins to the fabric frame. It creates a simple barrier, and surprisingly, it works really well. The elasticity is strong enough to block toys from getting underneath, but still flexible. One thing I’d suggest: use a few extra safety pins along the sides, not just at the ends. That makes it much more stable and keeps everything in place. Obviously this isn’t what the product is designed for, but if you have kids and the same problem, this is an easy and affordable fix that actually works. Hope this helps other parents who are tired of fishing toys out from under the bed like I was. ## Frequently Bought Together - Black Elastic Bands for Wigs, 1 Inch 12 Yard High Elasticity Knit Spool Sewing Band for Waistbands Pants Clothes and Crafts DIY, Airisoer - M3 x 5mm Flat Countersunk Head Machine Screws, Cross Screw, 304 Stainless Steel 18-8, Black Finish, 50 PCS --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/215124610-black-elastic-bands-for-wigs-1-inch-12-yard-high](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/215124610-black-elastic-bands-for-wigs-1-inch-12-yard-high) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
