## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I apply this around the edge and bolts of the oil pan? Will it fix the leak?**
A: I would try and replace the pan gasket first

**Q: How do you use this product as a belt dressing? Do you apply it with the belt moving or stationary on the engine?**
A: Having used this to seal gaskets (and for this use it is fantastic, no leaks but easy to remove later), I do not recommend using it as belt dressing; it gums up like rubber cement.

**Q: Anyone ever use this to glue Rubber Knee Pads to a Motorcycle Gas Tank?  Results??**
A: Not that I know of and I don't think it would be the best product for something like that. I'd recommend Barge Cement or Aquaseal.

**Q: I have a carburetor that won’t seal anymore. Can I use this to coat my gasket or saturate it in this? Will it fix the seal**
A: chances are there is a bigger problem than just needing "gasket seal"  without looking at you car i would not be able to repair it just by a simple comment,  if both areas are flat {the manifold and the carburetor} you actually would not even need a sealant.    i have been a diesel mechanic  for 40 years , this is one of the best products i have used { for 40 years} i am glad i can still find it.  i put a coat on the gasket and a coat on the part let semi dry {tacky} then put the gasket on the part and assemble.
