Review: Camellia Red Kidney Beans - Camellia brand of red kidney beans are the best in my opinion. The quality of the beans compared to other brands don’t even come close. And I had tried other brands. The beans are so flavorful and the texture is the right consistency. In 1 1/2 to hours 2 hours you talk about some good eating. I usually soak mine , rinse, add the trinity ( bell pepper, onion, celery ) bay leaf, smoked turkey meat and sausage and seasoning and chicken broth. Cook some rice and cornbread and you have a meal.
Review: Worked well, tasted good - Trying my hand at southern style red beans and rice, and the brand name Camillia kept coming up for choice of beans, so I bought theirs, happily so. Did the rinse and sort, and there was no debris, and no bad beans. Cooked well, tasted just as they should. Happy with seller and product.

A: Easily 2-4 years. Dried beans stay safe indefinitely. However, after 2-3 years, they may lose some vitamin potency. 
In saying that, I have kept dried beans for years.

A: It's a bit difficult to cook

A: 1 pound (6 packs) is a quantity of 6, 1LB bags.    We will contact amazon about the issue on price per ounce as that is not correct.  Thank you!

**Q: What’s the self life on dry beans?**
A: I buy beans that not more than 12 months old (if you can believe the advert). I use the beans within 12 months. I soak and use a pressure cooker for my beans. I prefer a soft bean and one that does not crunch. I pressure cook the beans longer if they are older that 24 months.
