Wholesale, a floral distributor co-owned by her husband, Bob. Maxine soon realized that the balloon imprinting process could be used to print a message or design on a balloon, creating a floating greeting card–a concept that would soon transform the floral industry and lead her to found Flowers, Inc. Balloons. Her ingenuity has taken the company from a backroom start-up to The World’s Largest Balloon and Coordinating Gift Supplier. In 2006, Flowers, Inc. Balloons changed its name to burton + BURTON to represent the extensive inventory of balloons, floral supplies, coordinating gifts, and home décor the company offers. Review: For Nanas that appreciate a big cup of coffee or tea - I must admit, I bought this for myself. I thought my granddaughter would enjoy the sentiment when she visits me. First off - it holds 18oz. This meets my main criteria for coffee mugs. They must be generous enough to hold a big cup of coffee with room at the top to prevent sloshing. This one does. The mug is lovely and well designed. It is a pretty, light blue/green glaze with gold glaze around the rim. The interior is a cream color. The raised oval on the front that says NANA is unglazed. This is pretty and adds a little texture. The back, which displays the sentiment "The best job I've ever had is being a NANA," is a smooth glaze. The mug is wider at the base for excellent stability and I love the shape of it. Even though it has a generous capacity, it has a bit of a waist that allows you to hold the mug that way, too, without it slipping. Nice for a cold day when you want to warm your hands around your coffee mug. This is an attractive mug with a generous capacity that should please almost any Nana with a coffee or tea addiction.
