Review: Very nice - I got these to cover the dough while it was proofing during bread making. They are made of a nice thick cotton fabric. The elastic around the edge is nicely covered in a band of bias binding. The sewing and finished product are of good quality and attractive. I wish they made them for rectangular loaf pans and casserole dishes. the only reason I gave it 3 stars for cleanability is that they have to be laundered instead of just wiped down, but that is just the way with cotton. Definitely a good purchase

I have recently discovered the art of no-knead bread, and have become an avid baker. I was hunting for something other than plasticwrap to cover my bread with while rising. I came across these nifty bowl covers, and thought I would give them a try.They are exactly perfect for the job; they are cotton and therefore lent-free, they are sized to fit most bowls, from the smallest to the largest. They are washable. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it.
