Review: Good quality metallic paint - Similar quality to the Apple Barrel paints that I purchased and used with this paint. Good value for price. Color & opacity are perfect. Also very shiny. So coverage was just what I needed. Just about as exact as it is pictured. Consistency and thickness is perfect. Not watery at all. Make sure to clean up outside of lid after each use to avoid any dry crustiness from getting into the fresh paint during next use though. For being a metallic acrylic paint, this price for this size and quality is excellent. Well suited for paper, cardboard, wood, metal, etc Review: Gilded Elegance - In my pursuit of achieving an aged bronze look for my DIY Christmas ornaments, I stumbled upon the FolkArt Multi-Surface Metallic Paint in the enchanting shade of Metallic Copper. This paint turned out to be the secret ingredient that added a touch of gilded elegance to my crafting endeavors. Rich and Authentic Color: Perfect Metallic Hue: The Metallic Copper shade of this paint is nothing short of mesmerizing. It captures the essence of aged bronze with its rich and authentic hue, instantly transforming plain surfaces into objects of sophistication. I used it in combination with antique gold metallic paint that I had in my craft box to achieve a range of distressed metal appearance and depth. I used a sponge to apply the paint in an organic textured way. Versatility and Ease of Application: Multi-Surface Magic: True to its name, FolkArt's Multi-Surface Metallic Paint lives up to its promise of versatility. I used it on a variety of surfaces, including clear ornament balls, to achieve the desired aged bronze effect. The paint adhered seamlessly, and its consistency made application a breeze. I do want to mention that I used this product in combination with other acrylic paint and only over surfaces that were primed. The FolkArt Multi-Surface Metallic Paint in Metallic Copper has become my go-to choice for achieving a gilded, aged bronze look in my DIY projects. Its rich color, versatility, and ease of application (combined with the fantastic price point!) make it a standout choice for anyone looking to add a touch of metallic elegance to their creations. The paint's adhesion and durability ensure that the crafted pieces maintain their allure over time. ## Features - Indoor and outdoor - Excellent coverage - High pigmentation and consistent color - Satin finish - Clean up while wet with soap and water ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07B5Q1MCC | | Age Range Description | General Use Product | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,091 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #43 in Art Paints | | Brand | FolkArt | | Brand Name | FolkArt | | Color | Black Gold | | Container Type | Bottle | | Coverage | Full | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 2,709 Reviews | | Dry Time In Hours | 24 | | Finish Type | Satin | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00028995029653 | | Included Components | bottle of paint | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor, Outdoor | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Type Name | multisurface metallic paint | | Item Volume | 59 ml | | Item Weight | 3.2 ounces | | Manufacturer | Plaid Enterprises, Inc. | | Model Name | multisurface metallic paint | | Model Number | 2965 | | Paint Type | Metallic paint | | Part Number | 2965 | | Size | 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Special Feature | Non Toxic | | Special Features | Non Toxic | | Specific Uses For Product | Interior/Exterior | | Surface Recommendation | Metal | | UPC | 028995029653 | | Unit Count | 2 Fluid Ounces | | Warranty Description | Warranty | ## Product Details - **Brand:** FolkArt - **Color:** Black Gold - **Finish Type:** Satin - **Item Volume:** 59 ml - **Paint Type:** Metallic paint - **Size:** 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - **Special Feature:** Non Toxic - **Specific Uses For Product:** Interior/Exterior - **Surface Recommendation:** Metal - **Unit Count:** 2 Fluid Ounces ## Images ![multisurface metallic paint, 2 oz, Black Gold - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/711DjnxLE7L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality metallic paint *by L***. on September 17, 2026* Similar quality to the Apple Barrel paints that I purchased and used with this paint. I didn't use a top coat and it still didn't fade or wash away. Great coverage, easy to use. Didn't dry too quickly in my tray while applying. The color is just what I expected. Good consistency. Works in multiple yrfaces.
