Made of lightweight and rigid Durashock molded EVA shell, the inside lid is lined with high density egg-crate foam to protect the displays, jog wheels, and controls. Review: Great case, light and sturdy - I bought this for a 2nd time because my DJ boyfriend liked it so much for his equipment the first time. Great quality product. We just travelled a lot with his equipment so it wore out quick but not too quick. Review: Will only provide marginal dust protection, passable for the money - Pretty thin walls, almost absent padding and basic zipper does not a good case make. I'm trying to protect my XDJ-XZ, a $2500 investment. This case will probably be OK for dust protection, but I would not want to bump it on anything while the deck is inside, let alone drop it. Padding is almost not there: there is one thin piece of wave foam that is supposed to go on the top of the case. It keeps getting disconnected from the case (can be fixed with some double side tape or glue). The walls are pretty thin and soft. Don't expect any drop or compression protection. The usual way these basic cases fail is the zipper. This one is not going to be an exception. If you absolutely need to save money - go ahead, this is better than nothing.
