Tool knife / EDC - Initial review: The knife feels soldid. The quality of the knife is good I’d give it a 7/10 for finish. There are some edges and parts of this knife that you can see weren’t touched up but that being said this is constructed well above its price range at $25 dollars. It has a decent weight to it doesn’t feel like a toy. The blade came dull but sharp at all. The open assist is okay does its job nothing crazy. This is very ideal size for edc and a good size once the blade is open. Review: Very close to perfect, but with one major flaw. - So, up front, I really like this little knife. I bought it because I liked the overall design of it, the style and blade profile were just what I was looking for in an EDC item. The last one I was using before this was much thicker and bulkier, and I wanted something a little more elegant and subtle. This one ticks all the boxes, it has a frame lock style, has a quality blade with excellent edge retention and looks really good, but has one major flaw that has ultimately relegated it to the drawer for me. I keep my pocket knife in my pocket, and the handle design and blade profile of this knife make it very easy to accidentally nick my hand on the knife when reaching into my pocket for anything else. Because this knife sharpened up so well, every graze against the blade meant that I was going to be bleeding for a bit, which just got old after about the 3rd time reaching into my pocket for my phone, and bringing it out with a bloody fingertip. It's a lovely knife, especially for the price, but I can't really recommend it unless you're going to be keeping it in a pocket with nothing else but the knife in it. ## Features - POCKET KNIFE :7.56 inch overall length, blade length of 3.3 inches, handlelength 4.25 inch, blade thickness 3 mm and a weight of 2.67 oz (75.6g) - D2 KNIFE: D2 blade features excellent toughness provides razor sharp, edge retention, wear and corrosion resistance - Titanium Plating & G10 HANDLE:Unique design Titanium Alloy handle has excellent balance of hardness and corrosion resistance , G10 surface texture provide a more comfortable feel and easier to grasp - BALL BEARING PIVOT Knife: Blade is sharp, symmetrical, and perfectly machined. It opens smoothly and can be flipped ball bearing pivot open, reliable secure Frame lock, the blade is centered in the handle when closed. - 100% QUALITY GUARANTEE & SERVICE:EDC knife is engineered with quality, making it ideal for everyday carry,General all-purpose use for daily home needs, utility, fishing, farming, camping, hiking, ranching or collecting ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B086BH6FR6 | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #236,180 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #858 in Camping Folding Knives | | Blade Edge | Flat | | Blade Length | 3.3 inches | | Blade Material | Alloy Steel | | Blade Shape | Clip Point | | Brand | Eafengrow | | Brand Name | Eafengrow | | Color | desert | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 405 Reviews | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | Titanium Alloy | | Included Components | Pocket Clip | | Item Length | 7.56 inches | | Manufacturer | Eafengrow | | Model Name | EF942 Folding knife | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | EF942-desert | | Power Source | Manual | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Outdoor,Camping | | Reusability | Reusable | | Size | 3.3" | | Special Feature | Frame lock | | Special Features | Frame lock | | Style | Classic | | Theme | Outdoor | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Blade Material:** Alloy Steel - **Brand:** Eafengrow - **Color:** desert - **Handle Material:** Titanium Alloy - **Included Components:** Pocket Clip - **Model Name:** EF942 Folding knife - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Outdoor,Camping - **Special Feature:** Frame lock - **Style:** Classic ## Images ![Eafengrow EF942 EDC Folding Knife, D2 Steel Blade Titanium Plating & G10 Handle,Pocket Clip with Frame Lock EDC Pocket Knife for Camping Hiking Survival Outdoor(Desert) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51QGrole3yL.jpg) ![Eafengrow EF942 EDC Folding Knife, D2 Steel Blade Titanium Plating & G10 Handle,Pocket Clip with Frame Lock EDC Pocket Knife for Camping Hiking Survival Outdoor(Desert) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61ECTfmHcpL.jpg) ![Eafengrow EF942 EDC Folding Knife, D2 Steel Blade Titanium Plating & G10 Handle,Pocket Clip with Frame Lock EDC Pocket Knife for Camping Hiking Survival Outdoor(Desert) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FoOqnUgaL.jpg) ![Eafengrow EF942 EDC Folding Knife, D2 Steel Blade Titanium Plating & G10 Handle,Pocket Clip with Frame Lock EDC Pocket Knife for Camping Hiking Survival Outdoor(Desert) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71thHdvfjhL.jpg) ![Eafengrow EF942 EDC Folding Knife, D2 Steel Blade Titanium Plating & G10 Handle,Pocket Clip with Frame Lock EDC Pocket Knife for Camping Hiking Survival Outdoor(Desert) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71jQT4KVIAL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the handle thickness?** A: 12mm **Q: What's the secret to opening the darn thing? Tool knife / EDC *by H***O on April 26, 2026* Initial review: The knife feels soldid. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very close to perfect, but with one major flaw. *by Z***D on March 21, 2021* So, up front, I really like this little knife. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blade has no steep angles and so is easy to sharpen. *by G***F on May 21, 2022* Knife is small enough that I could wear it on the collar of my Cotton T-shirts, yet it is still a quite sturdy knife. The blade is long enough and yet delicate enough to serve as an excellent steak knife. The blade lock fully engages the base of the blade when opened. I would have like a slightly taller/larger opening tab with better knurling for a more positive opening action, but it is still a very smooth knife. There is almost no side to side play when the blade is open and locked. The pocket clip is too small for my taste, and way too stiff for its size. So I wish the pocket clip was larger, as the larger pocket clips tend to slide over pockets and collars easier, and you can adjust the spring tension they have easier, but that is one of only 2 flaws in an otherwise nearly perfect knife. I also like the jade coloring on the synthetic handles as it has a slightly translucent quality that mimics real jade. It is quite pretty. I can keep the blade nearly scalpel sharp, but the edge needs periodic attention from the whetstone to keep that edge that sharp. ## Frequently Bought Together - Eafengrow EF942 EDC Folding Knife, D2 Steel Blade Titanium Plating & G10 Handle,Pocket Clip with Frame Lock EDC Pocket Knife for Camping Hiking Survival Outdoor(Desert) - FLISSA Pocket Knife, Folding EDC Knife, 4 inch D2 Blade, G10 Handle, for Outdoors, Hiking, Camping, Black - Eafengrow EF27 Folding knife, D2 Steel Blade Everyday Carry, Flipper Open, Liner Lock, G10 Handle Pocket Knifes with Clip for Camping Hiking(Green) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/210476687-eafengrow-ef942-edc-folding-knife-d2-steel-blade-titanium-plating](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/210476687-eafengrow-ef942-edc-folding-knife-d2-steel-blade-titanium-plating) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
