Women on birth control should use caution though. *by N***E on March 2, 2016* -WARNING- For women on birth control, this supplement contains St. John's Wort, an herb that treats depression but also makes hormonal birth control methods ineffective. Taking this supplement without a back up form of birth control may result in pregnancy.Excellent product! Bought this supplement because my fiance's new insurance no longer covers his ADHD medication. It easily replaces his medication without any side effects (including appetite suppression). While I don't have AHDH myself, I also started taking it to help with concentration and to ease the symptoms of my depression and PMDD. Amazingly, I've had no PMDD symptoms. No severe depression/exhaustion, no extreme anger, no feelings of being overwhelmed/useless. Nothing. On top of that my period was a week late. After doing some digging through Goggle I found that St. John's Wort, an ingredient in this product, might be to blame. I stopped taking it and by the end of the first day my period had started.I started getting insomnia despite taking 1 pill in the early morning. I was getting 2-3hrs of sleep a night.
