The previous one was a Mr. Brog, so that will be my point of comparison.In most respects, it compares well. The leather is quite supple, more so than my well-used Mr. Brog. I like the color, and I like that the Peterson logo is not plastered on the outside, and is not visible until you unfold the pouch. (The Mr. Brog logo is front an center when its pouch is closed.) The lining seems comparable in execution between both pouches, which is good.There is one significant weakness, in my opinion, which cost this pouch two stars: there is nothing to retain closure. The Mr. Brog pouch has a pair of flat magnets sewn in the lining, which seems an excellent solution. The Peterson pouch relies wholly on the folding, which is fine when it's in a pocket, but what about if I drop it on the floor?
