A well edited book with great photos/and step by step instructions  plus it uses cups/ teaspoons/ tablespoons - measurements that make sense for Americans - this is a great book for American/ English speaking cooks who want to expand their cooking skills into German cooking / or learn new recipes for general family use.

Being the daughter of a German mother I like the idea of a modern take on the traditional German cuisine. After reading through the cookbook though I realize that the Chef must be from an area of Germany with recipes that I'm not as familiar with.
