No more hanging my purse over the back of a chair at a bar or restaurant where I can't see it. No more putting it on the floor (ick). I never have to worry about someone walking off with my purse anymore. They are well made, fun colors, and for thicker table tops you can pull the hook out just a bit further to accommodate a table with more depth. If a table is too deep, they won't work (not enough clearance space), but 95% of the time, they work great.
