Just received mine last night and I can tell you this thing is not even worth $5! I have many color variety of hydrangeas but this is the weakest and smallest I’ll have to see if it comes around. Just looks wrong on many levels. Now I’m stuck with it. DO NOT BUY!!!!! **Q: When do you plant , fall?** A: Up receipt. I planted mine the end of July. Arrived with green leaves mottled with brown and after a week in the ground I see some new growth. Won’t flower until next Spring and that’s with luck . Smaller plant than I expected but Hydrangeas grow quickly I believe **Q: Has anyone seen these hydrangeas bloom? I’m so underwhelmed by what I received and not sure if I should make efforts to care for this tiny little bush** A: We ordered one from Amazon and it arrived in excellent condition. We planted and watered it immediately and it has bloomed all summer. It hasn't shown the "strawberry" color we were hoping for but my understanding is that it occurs late summer/fall. **Q: Need to know when to prune them. Do they bloom on old wood or new?** A: They bloom on new wood. I believe you prune late winter or early spring.
