After trying so many mascaras on the market I have found my Holy Grail. The brush is thin allowing the user to get to the outer top eyelashes and tiny, corner eyelashes without getting mascara on the skin around the eye area. None of the mascara is wasted on the smaller brush. This was my problem with the mascaras with the huge brushes, it would get dry and flaky on parts of the brush you never used because the darn thing was huge.It wears very well, no smudging or flaking (at least for me). It comes off easily with make up remover or any cleanser you use. It dries quickly so build up your lashes while it is still wet. A little goes a long way - I only have to dip the brush in once to get 2 coats on my lashes.I am perfectly happy with this mascara and I hope they never try to improve it. Works great for me but YMMV. No clumps with this brand so far. I wear this mascara to Zumba/hip hop fitness classes and it doesn't run at all, but it comes off easily in the shower or with one swipe of a makeup remover pad.
