I took about 2.5 hours because I had changed my sand in the sand filter and a cup or two got into my pool, I bought extra bags to put two on at a time for double filtering. This small, amazing head sucked up the sand and other debris without any issue whatsoever. It is small enough to get behind my ladder too. That is one place I have had trouble getting in to, to clean properly before. The filter bags are easy to clean as well. Turn them inside out and rinse them, stuff just falls off.
