Problem was depth of hole for screw was too deep but used a hard plastic "sleeve" which between screw head and handle. Filler does not show, tightened just fine and should last. **Q: Will this work with a old blaze king insert? I thave the male part of handle which has the treads, will this work?** A: Not sure ..I had to get a little longer screw .it worked perfect . **Q: What is the length?** A: It is slightly smaller than the standard ceramic piece. I had to use a hacksaw to cut the threaded screw to make it work. I cut off about 3/8 of an inch.
