This AC Infinity stuff is a different kettle of fish altogether! It's really sturdy, you can tell its got those four layers they talk about. Was a bit of a wrestle getting it connected up, like trying to tame a shiny silver python, but once it was on with a couple of jubilee clips, it felt solid. The 8 feet length was more than enough, had a bit to spare. Dryer seems to be working more efficient now too. Well chuffed. Am I missing something?** A: It is a tight fit I used it on mobile home went on fairly easy they do mention in the description it is used for mobile home so I'm not sure if it works on your application or not Hope this helps **Q: can this be made explosion proof with wire clips? planning to use as vent for paint spray booth using flammable paints** A: This is where you get professional advice. Also don’t β€œroll you own” when it comes to explosion proof stuff. There are companies out there that make explosion proof stuff as well as paint booths. Their are various UL and NFPA requirements that have to be met. Look for used equipment, with this economy it is out there. There are ways of saving money, there are parts of this you can DIY, but you need someone who understands the hazards to do this safely. Also, anyone telling you how to do this without seeing what you want to do - does not know what they are doing. **Q: Im making my own welding extractor, do you think that is going to work?** A: Yes, it should work for a welding extractor. Use duct tape between the ducting and the metal clamps to protect the ducting, otherwise the clamps can rip holes in it **Q: Can this replace hvac duct work for a house** A: It will but I'd advise not to. It's not insulated enough. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Proper stuff, sorted my dryer out! *by S***T on 2 June 2025* Finally got round to replacing the rubbish old ducting on me tumble dryer, the old one was practically made of cobwebs and hope.
