Review: Sharp, sturdy scissors with surprisingly handy little tool on end of handles! - I've owned these for almost 2 years now and I'm very happy with my purchase! They do the main job I bought them for extremely well - they chop through anything I've attempted to cut very easily (meat, fish, vegetables, herbs, spring onions, packaging etc), as well as having little extra features that make them even more useful. In particular I've found the little bits sticking out of the tops of the handles surprisingly handy, in the video they're shown being used to open a can, and I have done this once on a can where the ring pull broke off, but I mainly use them to lever under the edge of jar lids to "pop" the airtight seal, which makes them *so* much easier to open! I have a medical issue which has led to muscle wastage, so jars can be hard to open sometimes, but when I break the seal this way there are very few jars which defeat me! They're also very useful for any other levering tasks around the kitchen (e.g. opening tins with flat "pop out" lids, like golden syrup and custard powder), and without risk of bending the ends of your cutlery or whatever you might use instead! They come apart very easily for cleaning; possibly the only criticism would be that they come apart so easily they sometimes do it when I've just opened them a little too far, but this hasn't been a major issue, as they're so easy to put back together on the rare occasion this does happen. We usually wash them in the dishwasher, but when I've only used them for something like herbs I sometimes just give them a thorough rinse under the tap and they come clean extremely easily. The blades have remained sharp despite them now being almost 2 years old, and they haven't rusted or become stiff to use. The scissors feel extremely sturdy and well made. Highly recommended! Review: My wife was the judge. - Not used them myself as I purchased them for my wife. I am told that she likes them. They are sharp and cut well. They are strong and the ability to separate the blades for cleaning is a good feature. ## Features - DURABLE: Carbon stainless steel construction, high hardness, long service life. - RUST RESISTANT BLADES with Strong Stainless Steel: Forging press manufacturing process enables high-density steel that makes 3 times harder than the normal stainless steel and are smoother cutting. - ERGONOMIC DESIGN: Maximum comfort and reliability. - DETACHABLE DESIGN-Ease for completely clean after use even in dishwasher. - MULTI-FUNCTION: Can opener, bottle opener and nutcracker.Multiple purpose for Poultry, BBQ, Chicken, Shrimp, Fish, Sausages, Vegetable, Pizza, Herb etc. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0795FC36C | | Best Sellers Rank | 63,730 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 47 in Kitchen Scissors | | Blade Edge | Bevel | | Blade Length | 7 Centimetres | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade material | Stainless Steel | | Brand | LIVINGO | | Colour | Silver | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 5,635 Reviews | | Finish | Polished | | Handle Material | Stainless Steel | | Is the Product Left or Right Handed? | Ambidextrous | | Item Dimensions L x W | 21.5L x 1.3W centimetres | | Item Type Name | Kitchen shears stainless steel | | Item Weight | 5.93 Ounces | | Manufacturer | LIVINGO | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | k010 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | K010 | | Product Style | Modern | | Product dimensions | 21.5L x 1.3W centimetres | | Style | Modern | | UPC | 603894278076 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Blade material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** LIVINGO - **Colour:** Silver - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Product dimensions:** 21.5L x 1.3W centimetres ## Images ![LIVINGO Kitchen Forged Shears Heavy Duty, Come Apart Ultra Sharp Multi-Purpose Stainless Steel Utility Scissors for Poultry, Food, Meat, Cooking, Bottle Opener, Nut Cracker 8.5 Inch, Dishwasher Safe - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618NZEb4xsL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Where are these made?** A: Sorry I have no idea but they are certainly robust, very well made and are definitely the best food scissors I have ever owned. They are used daily and have remained as sharp as when new. The 2 halves are designed to easily take apart for thorough cleaning. Love these scissors and am very happy with this purchase. I would replace them with same if I needed to but I would imagine they will last for ages. **Q: What is the country of origin? Is it made in China?** A: My scissors are only marked "livingo". The result of a web search was that livingo scissors are made in China. **Q: Can you re-align the blades after much sharpening?** A: NO **Q: How do people sharpen these? I have a wet stone pull through blade but this does not fit** A: We use a Pro sharpener £12.99 from Amazon Works well. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sharp, sturdy scissors with surprisingly handy little tool on end of handles! *by S***N on 29 March 2023* I've owned these for almost 2 years now and I'm very happy with my purchase! They are strong and the ability to separate the blades for cleaning is a good feature. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality *by S***. on 19 September 2026* These unusual scissors arrived safely & quickly. I Love the clean looking shiny metal, no plastic anywhere so they feel, cold to touch, smooth & weighty. Genius design & lovely to hold & use. The weight is especially good when cutting material in a straight line with a satisfying cutting motion. Their multi purpose function works well & easily without them feeling flimsy. A great buy for every kitchen or sewing box...perhaps buy 2 as they are so affordable! Will buy again myself. ## Frequently Bought Together - LIVINGO Kitchen Forged Shears Heavy Duty Come Apart Ultra Sharp Multi-function Stainless Steel Scissors Bottle Opener, Nut Cracker 8.5 inch - Poultry Shears Heavy Duty Professional, kitchen Scissors Heavy Duty Dishwasher Safe, kitchen Shears Heavy Duty Spring Loaded,ANDONG Utility Scissors Multipurpose Stainless Steel Meat Scissors+Sheath - KitchenAid All Purpose Kitchen Shears with Protective Sheath Durable Stainless Steel Scissors, Dishwasher Safe, Soft Grip Comfort Handle, 8.72 Inch, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/201817687-livingo-kitchen-forged-shears-heavy-duty-come-apart-ultra-sharp](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/201817687-livingo-kitchen-forged-shears-heavy-duty-come-apart-ultra-sharp) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
