I recommend not to use a ballhead or quick release. The nadir hole is up to 62mm diameter. Strong enough to support a 1DX or 1Ds3, even though it's incredibly light. *by W***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2015* When I first received this it seemed way too light to possibly be very sturdy. I was presently surprised to find that it can handle a Canon 1DX or 1Ds3 mounted to the Sigma 8mm f/3.5 without any problem. My only complaint is that the clicks which indicate the the head is in position should be slightly stronger. I'm a bit worried that over time they'll loosen up and it will be either too easy to knock the head out of positition or I won't be able to feel the clicks well enough. Otherwise really great product and I plan on buying a second one to take hiking with me along with my E-M1 and the rokinon 7.5mm fisheye. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Ultralight it is!
