I couldn't get the included hex screws tight enough to keep the bar from rotating in the neck assembly. I ended up breaking one of the screws off in the neck as the bars never really seemed to be tight enough. Also, the ring nut on the lower handle bar assembly was very loose and rattled as she rode the scooter. Upon tightening the nut, it made turning the handle bars very hard for her. I'm not sure that this scooter design was very well thought out. I was so concerned that the rattling of this scooter might be a safety concern, I wouldn't let her ride it anymore. My 9 year old rides it regularly, but no crazy tricks or anything. It seemed like a great scooter till yesterday. It snapped in half when he fell yesterday, it wasn't even a hard enough fall to hurt my son. My son is maybe 60lbs.UPDATEI updated from 1 to 3 stars, the company was great at responding very quickly, and sent a replacement right away.
