As far as I know, the Crave is does not send any audio over USB. You will need a PC (connected by USB) for firmware updates, PC-based midi controllers and the Synth Tribe app. I hope this helps. **Q: Can you connect a behringer usb/ midi keyboard to this unit** A: I use a midi keyboard for it, using the old fashioned midi cables. I use an Aturia Keystep because it has old fashioned connections. I wouldn't know how to get USB to work without also using a computer. **Q: Hi does it come with power, if not what supply do I need and what other leads (i have a neutron already and a keystep)? Thanks** A: Mine had a proper power supply. I use an old style midi cable between this and the keystep, it works fine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little mono synth *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 September 2025* Very adaptable synth . The Crave can do most sounds from great acid bass's to evolving drones . It has plenty of knobs for tweekers and many switched to alter the basic sounds . Not to mention the patching capabilities .Its very good value for money but don't really expect to use it as a performance synth . No presets !I found it very solid and well made and easy to use ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 13 December 2025* Absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Required calibration before use which is fine and this thing sounds amazing. Being a synth DIYer and this being semi Modular, this is perfect. Steep learning curve with the sequencer but again, worth the time. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great starter mono synth at a great price *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 October 2025* 4 stars because mine came without instructions and online help is terrible. The synth is a brilliant starter synth with a look into the world of modular synths as its semi modular. Can be played without plugging in a cable. Easy to learn on as there are some very good educational videos on youtube concerning this synth. There is a series of these synths that will easily connect to each other. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg like most synths. ## Frequently Bought Together - Behringer CRAVE Analog Synthesizer Analog Semi-Modular Synthesizer with 3340 VCO, Classic Ladder Filter, 32-Step Sequencer and 16-Voice Poly Chain - AxcessAbles 1/8 inch (3.5mm) TS to 1/8 inch (3.5mm) TS Unbalanced Mono Patch Cables | Modular Synth Cords | TS Audio Cables |Eurorack Synthesizer, Multi-Color 3.5mm TS Aux Cords 6 Pack (1.5ft) - Behringer Edge Semi-modular Analog Percussion Synthesizer --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/199658829-crave-analog-semi-modular-synthesizer-with-3340-vco-ladder-filter](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/199658829-crave-analog-semi-modular-synthesizer-with-3340-vco-ladder-filter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
