There are a lot of recipe cards to fill in on the inside, but there is also plenty of room to add more. I purchased full size page protectors, 5x7 recipe cards, and 5x7 page protectors to expand the book. The binder fits standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper and page protectors, so old family recipes on notebook paper or copied on printer paper will fit beautifully. I liked the tabs for the dividers, but agree with others that they are extremely specific and there are no blank ones or "other/miscellaneous," but because the binder is so large, it is easy to add dividers of my own. These are such a great gift for the kids and grandchildren to Keep. I put all there favorite recipes and added little personal comments on the recipes. I also went to Hobby Lobby and purchased stickers pertaining to cooking and placed one on each recipe. These cook books are extremely nice quality and will make a great gift. Would highly recommend them. They might seem a little expensive but they are worth it.
