I do mostly serious computer work (OK - you may consider games serious but to me they are recreation) and very much like the touch of this mechanical keyboard. There is one quirk, though, that is a bit tiresome, and that is the repeat which is, well, quirky. Sometimes when I touch a key, it immediately starts repeating. I say quirky because this is inconsistent. Most of the time the repeat function is fine, but occasionally it just takes off. More than once, I have had the Ctrl+Z (undo) key combination wipe out masses of text by running dozens of undo's in a second or two. I have adjusted the keyboard repeat delay and repeat speed to go slower, but only time will tell if this resolves the problem or not. Other than the keyboard repeat (maybe the keyboard is just mad at me for tapping on it???) I very much like this board - particularly the backlit keys. Review: Better than expected - I had never owned a mechanical keyboard before, so I have nothing to compare this to. But I love the weight this keyboard has, and the brown switches are awesome. Nice tactile push with only a little bit of the annoying clack, though I've grown to love that noise I think. Backlight looks super cool. Love this product. Only had it a month, but everything is still working fine. ## Features - All Key Rollover - Full N-Key Rollover is an advanced anti-ghosting technology that allows for multiple simultaneous key actuations. This makes you more agile when in the game. - USB Hub & Audio Port - This keyboard has a 2 port USB Hub and two audio ports for your headset and mic. - Palm Rest - Durandal Ultimate is shipped with a comfortable palm rest so you won’t feel tired after winning another war. - Memory & Macros - Durandal Ultimate can be configured to store 10 sets of macros for each of 5 gaming profiles. The macros can be bound to any key. Feature 128 Kb of onboard memory for easy macro storage. - Braided Cable - The keyboard’s thick braided cable is protected from mechanical damage and will endure your hardest battles. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00GAML6W8 | | Brand | Tesoro | | Button Quantity | 104 | | Color | Cherry MX Brown Switch | | Connectivity Technology | USB | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 3 Reviews | | Keyboard Description | Gaming | | Manufacturer | Tesoro | | Mfr Part Number | Durandal-G1NL-Blue-LED(BW) | | Model Number | TS-G1NL | | Number of Buttons | 104 | | Number of Keys | 5 | | Style | Contemporary | | Style Name | Contemporary | | UPC | 609456362078 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Tesoro - **Connectivity Technology:** USB - **Keyboard Description:** Gaming - **Color:** Cherry MX Brown Switch - **Style:** Modern - **Number of Buttons:** 104 - **Manufacturer:** Tesoro - **UPC:** 609456362078 ## Images ![Tesoro Durandal Ultimate G1NL LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Blue LED Edition (Brown Switches) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71gzEwRXKNL.jpg) ![Tesoro Durandal Ultimate G1NL LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Blue LED Edition (Brown Switches) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Tm1vFt6nL.jpg) ![Tesoro Durandal Ultimate G1NL LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Blue LED Edition (Brown Switches) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ICmkCw5ML.jpg) ![Tesoro Durandal Ultimate G1NL LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Blue LED Edition (Brown Switches) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/714TJnO1kJL.jpg) ![Tesoro Durandal Ultimate G1NL LED Backlit Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Blue LED Edition (Brown Switches) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41moDmEpusL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: This product has a red Backlit version? with Brown Cherry MX too?** A: There is a red back-lit version, but not in Brown Cherry MX. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Generally very good, but a bit quirky *by S***N on January 15, 2014* I switched to this keyboard because it received good reviews as a Cherry-MX Brown keyboard. But I love the weight this keyboard has, and the brown switches are awesome. Nice tactile push with only a little bit of the annoying clack, though I've grown to love that noise I think. Backlight looks super cool. Love this product. Only had it a month, but everything is still working fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This specific one is great on its own merits too *by D***S on July 2, 2014* I've never owned a mechanical keyboard before this. Now that I have I never want to go back to a regular one ever again. But that could be said about mechanical keyboards in general. This specific one is great on its own merits too. You can change the backlit keys brightness including a reactive mode, outputs for USB, mic, and headphones. I mean it's not the most fancy in features but it's blue, has brown switches, and has great build quality.
