Review: One tough customer - I needed to remove a couple of rock waterfalls that had been standing for 35 plus years. They were constructed with field stone and mortar. Lots of mortar. I wanted to save as much of the rock as possible for use in another project. So, I bought this Bosch demo hammer. I have a lot of experience using Bosch tools in my woodworking shop. I had little experience in demo work on masonry. I didn't want a full on jack hammer, because like I said, I was trying to do a surgical removal of the rock. At 12 pounds this tool is not lightweight. But compared to full on jack hammers, it is much more manageable. To date I have put about 30 hours of use on it. It is doing the job and saving me a lot of money vs hiring someone else to do it. Review: SDS-MAX hammer - It is very light weight for the power and if you have to use for more than a couple of hours it makes a huge difference. desertcart doesn't really make it plain that you can ONLY use SDS-MAX bits and SDS-Plus does not work. In fact after I put it in the cart the "people who bought this also bought" listings showed several items of the wrong series. I guess they don't mention those that bought them had to return them (as I did). Other than the fact I had to run to a hardware store for chisels I thought I had, this is a great tool. Also it isn't a hammer drill, just a hammer that can pound a hole in concrete. ## Features - Light demo hammer with top power-to-weight ratio 5.6 Ft.-Lbs. of impact energy at only 12.4 Lbs. in weight - SDS-max bit system ease of use with tool-free bit changes with automatic bit locking and maximum impact-energy transfer rate - Vario-Lock positioning rotates and locks chisel into 12 different positions to optimize working angle - 360 auxiliary handle operator comfort due to a wide range of positioning - Innovative service modules designed so a qualified service technician can quickly replace the brushes and cord - Ergonomic grip area maximum comfort when chiseling in tight spaces or in a wide variety of positions ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00BQVR4H4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #371,451 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #146 in Power Rotary Hammers | | Brand | Bosch | | Brand Name | Bosch | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 51 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00000346448818 | | Included Components | -- Other -- | | Item Highlight | 10.0 Amp motor, 5.6 ft.-lbs. impact energy, vario-lock positioning, demolition, concrete, jackhammer, demolition hammer | | Item Type Name | Demo Hammers | | Item Weight | 12.4 pounds | | Manufacturer | Robert Bosch Tool Corporation | | Manufacturer Part Number | DH507 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Limited 1 Year | | Model Number | DH507 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Style | Industrial | | Style Name | Industrial | | UPC | 000346448818 732454048320 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Bosch - **Color:** Blue - **Item Weight:** 12.4 pounds - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Style:** Industrial ## Images ![BOSCH 10.0 Amp DH507 SDS-max Demolition Hammer for Concrete - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51jyQtpIFxL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One tough customer *by G***E on July 15, 2022* I needed to remove a couple of rock waterfalls that had been standing for 35 plus years.
