Just no. I am legitimately angry over this purchase. My cats had the old Boogie Mats by Fat Cat. It was great. Until someone had an accident on it. I wound up throwing it out. It just never was the same no matter how much washing I did.So I thought I'd buy a new one. Not only did I NOT receive the one pictured (which was the exact old one), I received a knockoff (guess from where). It's comically small. It's legitimately ugly. I loathe it.Unfortunately, one of my little dudes just loves it. He climbed on it right away. Why? Catnip. That's it.I'm out the money because I can't send it back. Oh well. In the future, I'll make my own with fabric, a sewing machine, and catnip. It's a shame the quality has gone down the toilet. I'm assuming Fat Cat got bought out by some cheap company. On the right is this new version, made of a nylon like fabric.The new version slides all over. While this slippery synthetic cloth may be great for flags, windbreakers, and sleeping bags, it’s nothing most people would want to touch. On a side by side test, cats prefer the old version 4 to 0.I agree with my cats: the original version is dramatically better. Except for the cute graphic, I can make these pretty quick with inexpensive material that is MUCH better.A standard pillowcase (Egyptian cotton with a high thread count) makes two of a more generous size, and I can add ribbons, tassels, buttons, whatever. The zipper is optional. My homegrown catnip is much stronger, so I just have to smear the mat with a little of it.Nope, never again. Way too cheesy. Sorry to see this product fall so, so far.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great bed for my little box turtle *by C***H on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2018* i just bought 2 more of these for my 17 year old little box turtle. i fold it over and safety pin the 2 edges and make a little pocket for her. she goes in there every evening to go to bed. she loves her "fat cat toy boogie mat". the first 2 have lasted at least 10 years and is finally ripping at the seams. these 2 new ones should last just as long. i take the catnip out and give it to my friend who has cats and then wash and dry the mats and they are ready to go. i wash the about once every few months and has still lasted a long time. i also cut the fluffs off so they don't shed in her container.
