Review: Great stamps- wonderful variety! - I'm just getting into stamping/embossing and I not only wanted to try acrylic stamps but also pick something that wasn't holiday related, even though I plan on making mostly cards with my crafting supplies. These are great stamps! They're detailed but not so much so that it prohibits using some of the new mica/heavier embossing powders from Stampendous. I've only used two of these butterflies so far (just got my order earlier today!) but I can see myself using these for spring cards, birthdays, nature-themed cards, thank yous... I'm also very pleased with the variety of butterfly types in this set and their realisitc look. They're not cartoon-y or whimsical or shabby but with the right techniques I'm sure you could make them look more vintage/shabby if you wanted. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase!
