Review: My acne prone, sensitive skin loves this stuff! - Let me start by saying I paid regular price for this. I'm usually a little hesitant to purchase something that has a lot of "discounted purchase" positive reviews because I have been duped in the past. But I bought it anyway based on the ingredients (which I will talk about). I have been using this for about 3 weeks and am in love with it! You really need to look at the ingredients on skin care, not the claims on the front. I feel like most skin care products start with water, add some fillers, a little "active ingredient," then more inactive ingredients, that are at best unnecessary, and at worst they counter the active ingredient or even irritate your skin. What drew me to this product was that the main ingredient is aloe vera, which is really good for the skin. It's also got oils that are good for the skin, as well as vitamins, and extracts, and more. Its chock full of skin loving ingredients... it's not just retinol in some water with chemicals and fillers. Every ingredient has a purpose and there is nothing unnecessary, such as fragrance. Now, just because the ingredients look great, doesn't automatically mean the product will work. But this one does what it claims. I don't know about lines and wrinkles (I'm 30), but my skin concern is acne. I found that (for MY skin) focusing on keeping my skin clean and healthy works much better than medicated products marketed toward acne. I have found that after three weeks of using this, my redness and dark acne marks are fading. I've noticed that my clogged pores are slowly unclogging, or at least they are now to the point I can manually extract them with my fingers without having to press too hard. (I had been using an expensive salicylic acid "clear pore" treatment every day for 3 months prior to this and it didn't do a thing to loosen them up!) And I have had not a single new pimple since using this cream. I have sensitive skin, in the way that I get breakouts or irritation from certain cheap products, like anything Loreal brand. But I'm just fine putting 100% tea tree oil or lemon juice on my skin without irritation. I started off using this just a tiny bit of this at night. After I had no reaction, I increased it. Now I apply a generous amount morning and night after cleansing with Micellar water and these two products are all I need to keep my skin clean and healthy. For my skin, less is more and the more I put on the worse my skin reacts. I'm excited to have a skincare regimen with two products and my skin has never looked better. The only negative that's not really not even negative I'd have to say is that I did experience a little slight dryness from it at first, but I just exfoliate with a microfiber cloth and water to gently brush off the dry skin. I had read that dry was normal when starting retinol. And everybody mentions the dispenser, which was not a selling point for me, but I do really love it. For some reason it's so much easier to push down and there's the product, rather than unscrew a lid and dip your finger in. Sounds silly, but it is a time saver. The jar looks nice on my bathroom counter, too. I will continue to purchase this product and recommend it to anybody. UPDATE: One jar lasted me about two months, using a pump in the morning and a pump at night. I just ordered more. My skin looks so good! I'm so excited! I just want to be clear that this product is not the cure for acne, it only helps the skin's healing process. I take probiotics and drink lots of water to keep my skin healthy from the inside and prevent the acne. But this product has done wonders to help fade the scars and keep my skin hydrated, healthy, and glowing. UPDATE #2: The second jar I received, the pump dispenser doesn't work. So, I guess it is hit or miss according to the other reviews. Also, after two months of using it, I had to decrease the amount I was using in the morning. I was finding that my skin was getting very oily half way through the day, which is something that's never happened to me before. I've always had dry skin. So now in the morning I rub a very little bit on my fingers and pat it into my face, rather than slathering it on and letting it soak in. I still really like this cream. My skin is looking better and better.
Review: A Fantastic Find - I've been looking for a retinol cream with a moisturizer that isn't heavy, that I could also use around my eyes. I read the reviews of this product and decided to give it a try. Wow! Radha Beauty has a winner. First, I like the packaging. You have to press the top to pump out a small bit of moisturizer. I like the fact that my hands are separated from the product. Even with hand washing, it's easy to contaminate a skin care product with your hands, so I salute the manufacturer for their innovative packaging. The cream is light. It feels good going on the skin, producing a very slight cooling. It soaks immediately into my skin and it has a very light, clean scent. It feels good around my eyes and minimizes the crows feet. I really don't have wrinkles, but I have a deep "11" between my eyebrows. The cream minimizes this substantially. My skin is very sensitive and although I'm 56 years old, I still have t-zone oiliness. I still get breakouts every once in a while. Although the cream is a moisturizer, it's not heavy or oily. AHA is an excellent humectrant, negating the need for a heavy moisturizer. Also, I'm blue eyed and fair complected; I'm extremely sensitive to sun exposure. Because of sunburns early in life, and even though I avoid sun exposure, I have actinic keratosis. Good retinol creams, minimize the spots. I had a couple of spots on the left side of my face, from sun exposure while driving, or sitting on my porch. I've had this cream for about a month now, and I use it at bedtime. The spots are very small now; 2 which I've had for more than a year are almost gone. The cream can be used during the day, as well as evening. Frankly, I forget to put it on in the morning; I'm not used to using a retinol product 2x per day. If this cream can do this by only using it at night, I imagine it would be fantastic if I remembered to use it morning and night. I'm going to put a post it note on my bathroom mirror to remind me to use it in the morning! LOL The jar is a nice size for the price and I've never had a cream perform as this does. I highly recommend that you try it too.

**Q: Does this company test on animals?**
A: Logicalharmony.net has more information. Re: animal testing... the final product can say it wasn't tested on animals but it doesn't mean the ingredients that make up the final product weren't tested on animals. I think any of us on a quest for younger-looking skin shouldn't do it at the expense of animals on laboratories. Alba, Avalon Organics, Jason, etc. usually have some really good vegan & cruelty free options.

**Q: Is this a vegan product? What is the retinol made of? Does it come from fish?**
A: This product also contains Phenoxyethanol which is used as an insect-repellant and an anesthetic in fish aquaculture,etc. KLEEM organics retinol moisturizer seems to have better ingredients but does also contain palm oil. :(

**Q: Can any1 tell me any cream for hyperpigmentation n even skin tone**
A: I've had success eliminating hyperpigmentation on my forehead pretty quickly with glycolic acid. You can buy it inexpensively in high concentrations and dilute it yourself. Choose the ratio of glycolic acid:water, depending on how much you're willing to put up with peeling skin to get faster results, or a weaker solution for a slower process.

**Q: I can't get the pump to work. I looked at the reviews to get answers and tried them. Still not working.**
A: I had similar issues when I first received the product. I unscrewed the top, swirled the cream around a bit and then resealed it. A few pumps later it began to work. Give that a try and if it still doesn't work you might want to either contact the seller or just use it by opening it. Also, make sure you removed the little clear rubber piece that was blocking the hole :)

This is my first Retinol experience in nearly 40 years. Back in High School I had bad acne and my family doctor gave me a prescription. It nearly burned my face off. This cream is nothing like that. It takes a while to build up... Then you will feel some burn and red. After a week it improves. After 3-4 weeks the burn is very mild and the red is short spanned. It's feeling a little addictive even. I think it's helping with my wrinkles. It's only 4 weeks, but I think they are greatly improved. The tire treds are improving the most. My fine lines under my eyes seem slower to improve. The bad: Despite the size this has 1.7 ounces of cream. It is what it is. I wish it had 16 ounces like Gold Bond or 32 ounces like Quaker State. It's lasted a month + so far. Still using the 1st jar. Men there are some don'ts: Do not put this on your eye lids. The pain is awful. You will look like your eyes are inside a monkey butt. Afterward you will wonder if they will peel off enough that you will be able to see through your eyelids. Don't touch your face (that has this cream on it) and then urinate. You will get a new layer of skin where you don't need it and it's VERY painful. Scrub, Scrub, Scrub after applying. It tastes horrible and burns your mouth and even worse is the eye burn. That's really nasty. As far as I can tell Excema and Retinol don't mix. If you have a lot, be very careful in your testing before going all in. As they say beauty is pain. I just want to kick "they".
