How long will it take to charge it that way?** A: I was unable to charge it with my wall charger. I have a 1st Gen dx8. I ended up splicing a separate connector onto it so that I can charge it with my lipo charger. I kept both connectors on it and switched connectors depending on where I had it plugged in. **Q: how do you charge this with out a balance connector, I got the adapter for my charger but it gives me an error ever time?** A: I had the same problem with my turnigy 4000mah transmitter battery I have a imaxb6 mini charger and it keeps comeing up with error you have to change the balance charge to of and at the beginning of the setup change it from lipo balance charge to lipo charge and you are good to go I have a dx6 I hope this is helpful **Q: Will this work in a dx6?** A: Yes the Turnigy 4000mah does work very well with the DX6 . Just remember to change the battery type in the configuration. Also I modified the battery to allow balanced charging. Balance cord not needed as it's built into the pack (thus the intelligent wording in description). *by B***D on April 6, 2018* Very nice battery with twice the life of the original. Also works in DX6,7,9 series even though it's listed for DX8. Adding a balance cord is NOT needed as that circuitry is built in since this is a TX ONLY battery.It ships at only 30% so charging it the first time will take 12-18 hours since it is a slow charge rate in the transmitter. I got this because my original battery was only getting to 8.0V and not lasting as long as it used to. ### ⭐ Fits spektrum transmitters, but .... *by J***Y on January 5, 2020* It fits and powers up a spectrum 8Xe transmitter, however every charger I tried will not charge this thing. Worthless to me. I ended up ordering the Spektrum battery and it came with a charger that will charge it and there is no need to remove the battery to do it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ No Balance plug is a concern, but the battery seems great. *by S***Y on November 5, 2015* I agree with Brownlensman, there is no balancing plug so wondering how to charge this 'correctly'. I have installed in my DX8 and it fits, but it's tight. Had to remove the rubber pad on the back of the battery door, but no big deal. Never seen my Tx with a charge above 5.8V, not it's 7.7+ and great. I may install my own charge plug like Brownlensman did, but unsure if I'll do this. I have some around and can solder well, so it's likely I will try this. Am currently charging thru the Tx charger and it's working fine, but clearly dies not balance the cells.
