I installed a quick connect on the propane hose coming out of the island and can now quick change from an Ooni pizza oven to the three burner flat top griddle. Works great and I can keep the other in the shed until needed. Funny how those appliances say to be used outdoors but shouldn't be left out in the elements.

**Q: Mr. Heater use?**
A: This 1/4 inch QC would fit a 3/8 inch flared fitting.

**Q: Is this reverse thread?**
A: No.
The only reverse thread I'm aware of with propane is with the connection at the tank

**Q: can you chcarge the tank with this adaptor on?**
A: Not sure what you are asking. This adaptor is so you can connect a hose with quick disconnect fittings to an appliance, stove, lantern, etc. You would disconnect the hose from the tank to fill it.

**Q: Can an auxiliary propane tank be connected to supply the rv with gas; i.e. the reverse of using to supply a bbq?**

It's a tee before your reg.  I was cheap and just bought hose and disconnect regulator when needed.

This fit on my outdoor griddle to make it a quick connect for my outdoor island. I installed a quick connect on the propane hose coming out of the island and can now quick change from an Ooni pizza oven to the three burner flat top griddle. Worked perfect to eliminate the regulator and plug directly into a quick disconnect hose off my camper for a portable gas fire pit. You will need this if you already have a regulator on your main supply.
