It has virtually eliminated the cage odor of our 3 female rats. The product does not deter them from drinking their water at all. On the contrary, they are only interested in the water bottle that contains GoodBye Odor, and have been ignoring their other bottle with plain water. Knowing how well it works and that the rats are staying hydrated, we'll be mixing it into all of their water from here on out. UPDATE: After several months the odor was becoming stronger and stronger. It seemed like to product was no longer working. We stopped using it for one week. When we started using it again, it was extremely effective.
