This manual discusses gross motor milestones and fun, creative ways to reach them while working with clients, in the mission field, and with your own children. This book was originally created as a resource for an international pediatric physical therapy mission trip and has grown into an everyday resource for families and those working with children. It's a good springboard for discussion, creativity, session planning, and intentional play at home for parents, especially with everyone at home now! As someone who has done physical therapy mission work and lamented the lack of specific resources, I can definitely see how it would be a great, affordable resource on a mission trip to leave behind with caregivers. I am interested in doing my part to reinforce the skills he is working on in his therapy sessions.
