(Plus, there's no way to contact Amazon Direct to inquire about it.)Not a huge deal, except the mounting clip is permanently affixed to the cable, which unnessarily adds to the lock's clunkiness. The cable itself seems fine for what it is, a "Level 1 Security" cable lock. But I will say the cable itself is less rigid than others I've had, so it's easier to uncoil and use.UPDATE: I exchanged my lock for a replacement, hoping it would have a bracket, but no. Apparently Amazon got a hold of a stash of "compromised" products that had the bracket removed from the packaging (no doubt to be sold seperately.) And again, there's no way to contact them about it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Skinny cable, not super sturdy locking mechanism *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2021* Worth the price, but definitely not a heavy duty lock. The cable is pretty skinny, I imagine it would not be very tough to cut through. Where the cable connects to the lock, it is a little finicky and doesn't seem very heavy duty.
