Very decent construction and excellent resistance. I would also recommend getting the handle accessory, as well. One of the better purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon. I've had mine for a year and using it regularly (well, 3 times a week) and have had no trouble. **Q: Could someone please tell me what the maximum weight resistance is?** A: I've never seen anything regarding exact resistance. I use the lightest resistance and it's plenty good for me.
